A New Form of Luxury Transforms the Sky Offering Personalized Service and Sophistication
By Kellie K. Speed

Luxury Air ChartersImagine being able to sit back and relax, have a few drinks, and comfortably stretch out in leather seats while dining on “real” food. Obviously, the cost of a private charter plane is much more expensive than flying commercial, but there are numerous benefits that come with this investment. A Look at Cuervo Y Sobrinos Watches
There’s Always Time for Elegance
By Neil K. MacMillan

Cuervo Y Sobrinos WatchesIf Time in the Caribbean moves at a pace unlike anywhere else in the world, and timepieces from Cuervo Y Sobrinos, which were born on the island of Cuba and are now made in Switzerland, are unlike those found anywhere else. They are indeed of a quality second to none.

Established in 1882 the upscale jewelry boutique and watch manufacturer was a mainstay of Havana’s Quinta Avenida. Under Armando Rio Y Cuervo, the family business flourished by providing a product of superior quality and style. Renowned for their functionality and elegance, Cuervo Y Sobrinos watches were bought by the rich and famous, with the company guest book reading like a virtual who’s-who of the early 20th century: Ernest Hemingway, Winston Churchill and Albert Einstein, to name but a very recognizable few.

Shipshape Living ... Wherever You Go
Magellan offers five-star residences at sea
By Matt Robinson

Magellan offers five-star residences at seaEver dream of traveling the world, but you didn’t really want to leave home? Well, why not have both? Set to launch in 2010, Magellan is an 860-foot long, 106-foot wide, 15 deck, $750,000,000 ultra-luxury cruise ship that was devised by Arizona real estate developer, yacht dealer and former commercial and military pilot Randall B. Jackson, CEO and President of Residential Cruise Line. He was inspired to build the world’s largest and most luxurious residential cruise ship while traveling through the Straits of Magellan. “I envisioned the need for the Magellan during a cruise with my wife and two daughters,” Jackson says. “After traveling for years on cramped, crowded cruise ships, I realized that there was a need for a better way of traveling — a better way of living.”

A Taste of Elegance
Caviar
Bi Neil MacMillan

Gifford MarineElegance is a matter of taste. Caviar conjures images of swank penthouse parties where svelte ladies in slinky black dresses sip champagne and dance with financiers or possibly spies. Why does it have the mystique it does? Caviar is considered a Russian delicacy; the expensive hors d’ oeuvre, a kilo of beluga caviar can cost as much as $5,000. But what is caviar? Fish roe, simply, most usually the eggs of sturgeon that have been sieved and salted. Caviar is extremely perishable and is refrigerated immediately after the roe is harvested.
