The air is crisp as a gentle breeze moves the flags and foliage that adorn the racetrack.

Contemporary, plush, ultramodern and first class are just a few things that come
to mind when entering the front door of The Ritz-Carlton Boston Common. Located

such heavy hitters as Manny Ramirez), a movie theater, a one million dollar modern
art collection and the 100,000 square foot state-of-the-art Sports Club/LA. The
Ritz-Carlton Boston Common still offers the same five-star quality service the hotel

The Raw Martini
Fall River's Latest Sensation
There's a lovely lady in red waiting for her sultan of swing beneath a steaming
blue lamp behind the bar. The barkeep, a slinky vixen herself, wore basic black
with a rhinestone lapel pin shpepd like a martini glass. Her auburn hair danced
on bare white shoulders as she reached for her mixer, a few bottles and some spices.
Oooh! Shake it up baby! She poured the house signature drink into my empty glass
and reassured me: "If you like a Bloody Mary with a kick, then you'll just
love our raw martini." For more information...
Scissors
and Spas in The Land of Ahhss....Sisters' Story
"Almost cut my hair. It happened just the other day." I couldn't shake
David Crosby's haunting lyrics and melody out of my head as I cruised down the old
Route 6 in Mattapoisett. I was running late for an appointment at Sisters Hair and
Skin Care. You can find this full service salon and spa in the plaza across from
the police station at 67 County Road. Paula Church, the proprietor, greeted me at
the French doors leading into her shop. She invites me into a sitting room that
resembled a Victorian parlor. The faux mantle and artwork set an elegant tone. For more information...

A
Girl's Best Friend - A Look At Diamonds
For centuries men have sought them, women craved them and Louis IX of France decreed
only the king could own them. The diamond fascinates and mystifies us. What is it
about the gem? After all, it is just carbon with a few impurities that has been
under great pressure for a few million years or so. And yet, it is so much more.
