Undefeated Team, Unmatched Dedication

The New England Patriots didn’t lose a single game during the regular season, but for Jarvis Green, a 7-year, veteran defensive end, the loss of his teammate and best friend was devastating. This past May, New England Patriot defensive end Marquise Hill was killed in a jet skiing accident on Lake Pontchartrain, Louisiana. Jarvis Green and Marquise Hill were college teammates at Lousiana State University with a deep and abiding friendship. Mr. Green reflected: "I lost a dear friend and teammate that I knew for a very long time. He was one of the guys that I always talked to. We got really personal with each other. We talked about what was important in our lives. I feel like I lost a blood brother."
