Opened in September 2013, the 5-star Asian inspired Anantara the Palm Dubai Resort is the newest property on the Iconic Palm Jumeirah. Located on the Eastern Crescent whether set on the beach or surrounding the pool lagoons, all the spacious rooms and villas provide an unparalleled view of the sunset over the Palm.
In total the Anantara Dubai the Palm features 260 Lagoon View and Access Rooms, 12 Beach Pool Villas, 18 Over Water Villas, and 3 Two Bedroom Villas. The rooms are clustered into units of 4-8, design to offer maximum privacy, with half of these having direct lagoon access.
These clusters are made up of Lagoon View rooms on the first floor and Lagoon Access on the ground floor, allowing you to jump into the pool straight from your room. The Villas are undoubtedly the most spacious option and are either situated on the Beach Front with a Private Pool and direct access to the beach or Over Water without a private pool. Both are highly recommended but the Beach Front with a Private Pool is the most deluxe, only a stone’s throw away from the beach, enjoy the view from your very own pool.
Deluxe Lagoon Access: Part of a 4-room unit, located on the ground floor with large terrace and direct access to the lagoon; the 47sq meter rooms are equipped with King size bed or Twin single beds and a built-in day sofa. Interconnecting rooms are available.
One Bedroom Beach Pool Villa: 85sq meter one Bedroom with King size bed and living room. The private pool measures 4×8.5metres.
One Bedroom Over Water Villa: This spacious (106sq meter) over water villa comprises one bedroom with a living room and features a glass floor viewing panel.
Two Bedroom Anantara Beach Pool Villa: This spacious two-bedroom villa with separate living room covers 206 sq meters. The pool measures 4.5×10 metres.
It has to be said that the breakfast is absolutely fantastic, there is a wide variety of options from classic American, traditional British, freshly made smoothies and local Eastern dishes. Enjoy Mediterranean cuisines and cocktails at The Beach Club bar and restaurant. There is also the Crescendo which is informal dining, in the form of a buffet. The Mekong restaurant serves up Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine.
The room service dining option, Dining by Design allows you to dine on the beach or on your terrace for when you just want to kick back and relax.
