A Big Night for Big Thought: Celebrating 30 Years of Service
On March 2, 2019, Big Thought hosts Big Night at the Bomb Factory in Dallas commemorating its 30th anniversary. One of the city’s most respected education-focused nonprofits, it is well known for igniting youths’ imaginations by unleashing creativity and strengthening social well-being. Collaboration is a key component to Big Thought’s success and partnering with like-minded organizations is a fundamental stepping stone in achieving its mission to close the opportunity gap within the academic community. Today, Big Thought has served over 140,000 students and has received several distinctive honors including being named with the Coming Up Taller Award from the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities and Texas Cultural Trust Award for Arts Education.
This Saturday Event Chairs Giles Davidson & Daniel Waldmann and Ginger & Rod Sager along with Honorary Chairs Tucker & Rich Enthoven will not only celebrate the foundation’s 30th year in service but also the first time, in its history, that Big Thought will honor Dallasites making an impact on North Texas youth.
