SEAH®, known for its use of Astrology designs as its guide, brings a touch of the Greek Zodiac to their new watch model
For years SEAH® has been known as a luxurious purveyor of fine jewelry and timepieces that have a distinctive astrology theme throughout. It is a brand that inspired luxury and fine design, and recently the company has announced its latest innovation in the form of a new line of watches to be released in Fall 2013 that is an addition to their famous Sun Collection.
Using the inspiration of the sun as its guide, the fully patented collection is the only one in the world that replaces the standard dial with the Greek zodiac signs. Made with the leading Swiss quartz movement, the limited edition collection features a total of 50 watches in four different models. Personalization of the watches can be achieved through the unique rotating bezel, which allows the wearer change the position marker at their own unique zodiac sign.
One of the models, The Celestial, is a beautiful women’s watch model with a 42mm case that is distinctively crafted by hand with stainless steel, a stunning 18 karat gold plating and showcases a wonderfully crafted mother-of-pearl dial. Each number position on the watch dial is marked with a Greek zodiac sign while a sun in a golden lace design blazes at the dial center. The watch features an Austrian Hirsch alligator chocolate strap, balancing the triple-diamond dial markers on the bezel to even out the design and the overall look, a staple of the SEAH® Sun Collection. Keeping the same distinct dial face, an alternate version of The Celestial will be available with chocolate diamonds and champagne hued leather strap.
For the men interested in the beautifully crafted SEAH® Sun Collection, The Astronomer is another model available with a 46mm case. The 10 ATM water resistance watches were artfully designed with a touch of masculine appeal, a stainless steel polished bezel and sandblasted textured detail at each hour marker to bring a touch of class and sophistication to the timepiece. The Greek zodiac dial features a stainless steel frame that perfectly complements the black lacquer watch face. A satin metal star identical to the scarlet red dial hand stands proudly at the top in the twelve o’clock marker and the timepiece features a simple yet handsome black Austrian Hirsch leather and red stitched band to bring the overall design to completetion. The Astronomer also comes in an alternative version which features a custom-designed stainless steel bracelet with a combination of polish satin and sandblasted links.
SEAH® creator Rachel Levy states: “The sun is the main ‘star’ in our solar system and in astrology. The universe and astrology cannot exist without this main star which has become the SEAH® watch genetic stamp. Life is short and we wanted to honor the gift of time with this collection.” The idea for SEAH® was created in 2003 at its founding when Rachel Levy began researching astrology, astronomy and the tie between these two “sciences” in ancient times. SEAH® gained its name for the ancient word for “time” and since its founding has continually strive towards crafting pieces of the highest quality art, jewelry and a truly iconic timepiece line that focuses on the soul.
SEAH® watches are uniquely crafted to be the only collection in the world that can truly allow the wearer to carry a peeve of their own spirituality with them at all times. Prices in the SEAH collection range from $950 to $2,500. The Fall 2013 collection will be available at www.seahwatches.com and retailers worldwide.
