A new look to open air driving
The retractable hardtop roof on the 570S Spider adds the exhilaration of open top driving to its sports car performance. When the sun shines, press a button and the retractable hardtop folds effortlessly into the precisely proportioned bodywork, even when you’re driving at up to 40km/h (25 mph).
Iconic Doors
The dihedral doors are an iconic design feature on every McLaren. As well as making it easier to get in and out, these intricate doors guide air into the side intakes to feed the radiators.

One of the many McLaren technologies the Sports Series shares with its Formula 1™ cousins is its carbon fibre construction. Its immense rigidity and strength means that the 570S Spider requires no additional stiffening of the chassis, and so maintains the extreme performance, dynamic excellence and impressive refinement expected of a McLaren.
All Sports Series models are equally at home in the city as on a dynamic Alpine roadway. And if the desire takes you, the car is well equipped for the thrill of the track. The Active Dynamics Panel lets you select the optimum setting for any road or track condition. Choose Normal, Sport or Track and the car responds accordingly – from a (relatively) sedate drive in town to an adrenaline-fuelled lap.
The finest hand-stitched leather, satin-chrome highlights and a ‘floating’ centre console create a luxurious environment where you feel fully engaged to enjoy the Spider’s inspiring performance. The 7’ IRIS touchscreen accesses the intuitive infotainment system. Tap and sweep to control your settings, from satellite navigation to climate control. The optional Bowers & Wilkins 12-speaker surround system delivers crystal clear sound via the 14-channel 1280W amplifier.
