Developed by the Viareggio-based Codecasa Shipyards and designed by Fulvio Codecasa, the Codecasa Jet 2020 is a 70-meter superyacht. Breaking the mold of both typical lines of the maritime tradition as well as yachts built by the Viareggio Yard, the Codecasa Jet 2020 was inspired by a different yet elegant mode of transportation, aviation. With clean and minimal lines and vast spaces, the sea and sky meet to produce this forward-thinking yacht will meet all necessary certifications – Lloyd’s Register and the MCA – to ensure that the discovery of new horizons is always done in utmost safety conditions.
With the anticipation of the start of construction of the Codecasa Jet 2020 to begin in the first half of 2020, it will be built to the renowned high-quality standards which have made Codecasa famous all over the world and will also be equipped with the newest technical equipment. The yacht also features a helipad with a double tender area on the sides amidships, with air inlets recalling a Jet engine.
Its forward section features a near-identical design to the front of an airplane’s cockpit while its aft section is shaped like an airplane’s tail. Its forward section opens like the bow of a Cargo to give access to the mooring area opening to a kind of fuselage with a Sun Deck. The preliminary project states a length of 20 meters by 10 meters for the Sun Deck including a recessed swimming pool of six meters by two meters with large sunbathing mattresses and a covered Gymnasium.
Extending to the aft section, there the Beach Club, at the sea level, is served by a lift and connected to a Hallway and a Skylounge with large glass windows. Back up at the Sun Deck Level, there is the Salon and the main dining room. While the Main Deck bow area is completely devoted to the Owner’s Suite, guests are accommodated in the four cabins in the Lower Deck with the crew in the forward area.
Located on the Bridge Deck, served by another lift which connects the three decks, is the pilothouse, which is adjoined through a corridor to the Captain’s Cabin.Designed
