At the Monaco Yacht Show this year, Heesen presented its 55-meter yacht, Moskito, celebrated for its success in the charter industry. Moskito embodies the attributes that clients can expect from Heesen’s 55-meter steel series—elegantly crafted, intelligently engineered, and expertly constructed in the Netherlands.
The 55m Steel combines established efficiency with elegant design. Utilizing advanced naval architecture from Van Oossanen, its FDHF hull form ensures both performance and power. Coupled with exterior styling from Omega Architects, it boasts a generous volume of 760GT.
Its innovative use of glass provides ample natural light, offering magnificent panoramic views. This is exemplified in the full-beam sky lounge and main saloon, where floor-to-ceiling glass doors open onto outdoor seating, dining, and relaxation spaces, effortlessly blending indoor and outdoor environments.

The yacht’s refined interior was designed by the British design team of Bannenberg & Rowell. The combination of rich, natural hues and a carefully planned layout creates an atmosphere that is both dignified and widely appealing. The interior features smoked oak chevron parquet flooring, white Thassos, gray St. Laurent, and ivory Travertine marble, complemented by subtle warm bronze details, all reflecting exceptional craftsmanship and quality furnishings. With its intelligent design, high-end materials, and meticulous attention to detail, the Moskito offers an extraordinary yachting experience.
A unique wellness area can be accessed via the beach club, while the sun deck offers abundant space for enjoying the pleasures of yacht life. Powered by dual MTU 8V 4000 M63 engines, the 55m Steel excels in performance.
The heart of the design features the owner’s stateroom, a luxurious 82-square-meter haven located on the main deck. Additionally, the yacht accommodates ten guests in five staterooms, each equipped with en-suite facilities.
