France is renowned for its gastronomic delights, and visitors to the Côte d’Azur are invited to enjoy extraordinarily exceptional cuisine at Antibes’ Michelin star restaurant Les Pêcheurs.
This distinguished restaurant, translating to The Fishermen in English, is discreetly nestled in the luxurious Cap d’Antibes Beach Hotel. Its menu showcases the fine flavors of the South of France and the sea, which you can savor from the restaurant’s prime coastal position and with a fantastic view of the region’s stunning sunsets.
Here’s What to Expect at this Michelin star Antibes Restaurant:
With an idyllic setting on the edge of the waves, Les Pêcheurs’ magnificent terrace is the perfect place to try the best of Mediterranean cuisine while admiring the breathtaking coastline.
Built in 1954, this Michelin star restaurant can be found within the grounds of the first-class Relais & Chateau Cap d’Antibes Beach Hotel. Its contemporary setting and refined tableware by Agnès Sandahl are framed by floor-to-ceiling windows, which seamlessly blend the stylish interiors with the beautiful sea views across to the islands of Lérins.
The restaurant is the former site of La Maison des Pêcheurs, which was opened by French resistance hero Camille Rayon and became an iconic Cap d’Antibes restaurant. Safe to say, Les Pêcheurs is upholding the site’s legacy.
Described as the place for “creative and sophisticated” cuisine in Antibes by the Michelin Guide France 2019, Les Pêcheurs offers an inspired combination of French gastronomic tradition and Mediterranean flavors.
Its menu is designed by Nice-born, Michelin star chef Nicolas Rondelli. Trained by Alain Llorca and Francis Chauveau, Rondelli makes the most of fresh, seasonal produce to create modern, bold, tasty dishes that appeal to all the senses.
He has led the team at Les Pêcheurs since 2016 and continues to create gastronomic masterpieces that keep guests coming back for more. There are set menus of 4 courses (€90), 6 courses (€125) and 7 courses (€150) for everyone at your table to enjoy together, as well as delicious à la carte choices for a quick meal at this Antibes Michelin star restaurant.
Chef recommendations for summer 2019 include duck foie gras; Mediterranean red mullet; blue lobster served with homemade tagliolini and squid ink; Pyrénées lamb saddle; and raspberry soufflé.
