Mascioni: A legacy in Italian textile design

In the village of Cuvio, Italy, the Mascioni family business began creating handmade scarves and handkerchiefs. The time was 1957, a time when a distinguished clientele would purchase few, expertly made pieces that would last a lifetime.

Mascioni Hotel Collection
Now more than ever, there’s a pivot back to the desire for quality over quantity, which is why the Mascioni Hotel Collection was an attractive acquisition by Standard Textile in 2018. With the backing of Standard Textile, Mascioni can keep the same heritage and quality with the added element of more robust distribution. Cashmere throws, plush robes and luxurious bedding round out the collection. From a small village in Italy, Mascioni is now in some of the world’s most luxurious hotels, including Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills and the Baccarat Hotel in New York.

Mascioni Hotel Collection
Inspired by 1960’s Italian glamour, the core of the Mascioni collection is a nod to the sweet life, or “il dolce far niente” – the sweetness of doing nothing. The linens are woven, finished, cut, and sewn in Italy for an experience that is a nod to the detail and craftsmanship of the past.
