Greg Norman (A.K.A. The Great White Shark) is recognized internationally as one of the most famous “faces of golf” because of his illustrious golf career. With a career that spanned 25 years on the US, European and Australasian Tours that resulted in him being the number one ranked player in the world for 331 consecutive weeks; it is now his entrepreneurial spirit that has defined him as one of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs today.
Combining his loves for golf, business and simply living life, Norman has expanded his empire to include 20 business entities as part of Great White Shark Enterprises. Beyond the golf related endeavors, the iconic shark logo is a familiar sight on wine bottles found in stores around the world, and pairing his award-winning wines with premium Wagyu steak and beef products seems to be a perfect pairing. With a deep appreciation for quality, Norman is personally involved with every element of Greg Norman Estates and Greg Norman Australian Prime.
Launched in 1996, Greg Norman Estates is an international success with 14 varieties from Australia, California and Argentina, and multiple awards with more than 30 wines recognized with 88+ points. “I’ve always had a deep passion for wine as I was introduced to it early in my career traveling on the European Tour. I am involved in every aspect of my wines from vineyard sourcing and grape selection to sales and marketing,” says Norman.
The Greg Norman Australian Prime product line includes Wagyu New York Strip, Ribeye, Tenderloin, Top Sirloin, Beef Patties, Sliders and Hot Dogs with two selections: Greg Norman Signature Wagyu that is a super-premium steak produced from 300-day (minimum) fed Wagyu cattle; and Greg Norman Premium that is produced from 120-day grain fed cattle. “I enjoy the unique flavor and juiciness that Wagyu beef delivers with my favorite piece of beef being the grain-fed Wagyu sirloin,” adds Norman.
“My ideal meal after a day of golf would be a nice piece of Greg Norman Wagyu beef cooked on an iron skillet coupled with a glass of Greg Norman Estates Shiraz,” says Greg Norman.
