The all-new 2022 Lexus NX delivers a long list of firsts for Lexus and is available either as the NX 250, NX 350 with 2.4 turbo gas engine, NX 350h hybrid, or the NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV). The next-generation, five-seat luxury crossover SUV has been engineered with the future of luxury in mind, including the most technological vehicle changes since Lexus launched 32 years ago. Its lower center of gravity and bold styling turns heads while its intuitive technology, performance, and design make it a thrill to drive. 

Here is a snapshot of the long list of firsts this SUV brings to Lexus:

“The 2022 NX includes the most technological vehicle changes since we launched Lexus 32 years ago. With the all-new Lexus Interface multimedia system and a variety of customizable features, NX is an exciting first step in a series of 20 all-new or updated Lexus vehicles by 2025,” said Vinay Shahani, Lexus vice president of marketing.

The luxury crossover boasts a powerful presence thanks to its refined spindle grille (offering a three-dimensional effect) and new full-width blade taillamps. Its exterior is also upgraded with the new LEXUS logo located at the trunk’s center and an L-shaped lamp on the rear fender. It is available in a total of eight colors including the new Redline, Cloudburst Gray and Grecian Water. Ultra White, Obsidian and Ultra Sonic Blue Mica 2.0 are exclusive to F SPORT models.

In the NX 350 2.4 turbo gas engine, a new eight-speed transmission is offered, boasting an estimated 275 horsepower and 317 lb. ft. of torque with a 0-60 time of 6.8 seconds, and is longer, wider, and taller than the previous model. The NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid has a manufacturer-estimated 36-mile range on electric power only and can be fully charged in approximately two-and-a-half hours when equipped with the optional 6.6 kW Expedited Onboard Charger. Offering 239 combined system horsepower, the NX 350h hybrid has an impressive manufacturer estimated 36 MPG and comes with Predictive Efficient Drive to learn driving habits. 

The F SPORT Handling model, available with both the turbo and PHEV powertrains, turns up the driving dynamics with a sporty feel both inside and out. From sport seats to aluminum pedals and perforated interior trim in Black and Circuit Red NuLuxe to a dedicated F SPORT grille and front/rear bumpers that make a bold first impression and 20-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, this car turns heads.
