When I received an invite to the Park Hyatt Hyderabad which is the first urban Park Hyatt hotel in India, I was but naturally excited. My flight from Pune to Hyderabad was a late evening one and by the time I landed, it was well past ten in the night. I was received at the airport by the airport representative and informed that it’s a 45 minute drive from the airport to the hotel. The airport representative told me that I could place a call from the car to the duty manager and order for dinner in addition to informing them about my preferences, this was really impressive! I realized at that moment that the hotel’s philosophy of ‘luxury is personal’ starts right from the time a guest steps foot in the hotel’s car. With a vision to create an intimate hotel experience that celebrates fine art, delicious food and wine, and truly personalized service, Park Hyatt hotels around the world are enriched, sophisticated and uncommon, making one’s experience, a world of exception as I was to discover in the next two days of my stay. The hotel features 185 spacious and elegantly appointed rooms, 24 suites and 41 service apartments. Each of the hotel’s guestrooms and suites are among the largest in Hyderabad, measuring at least 45 square meters and 110 square meters respectively. It is equipped with a range of facilities and world class amenities which includes complimentary Wi-Fi access and a hi-tech media hub. Designed by the renowned architecture firm of John Portman & Associates, each room at the hotel is designed to cater to the discerning individual seeking privacy, personalized service and luxurious elegance of a contemporary hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in an elegant suite and it was a delight to be welcomed by a bottle of red wine as I checked in.From the time Park Hyatt Hyderabad has opened in the city of Nizams, I have visited this gorgeous hotel several times and admire the fact that the team is extremely media savvy. During my visit I enjoyed a pleasant interaction with General Manager Thomas Abraham and Preeti Philip-Cluster Director Marketing Communication who made me feel very welcome during my stay in the hotel.Park Hyatt Hyderabad offers a luxurious Spa and Fitness Centre for relaxing and unwinding after a hard day of work and meetings. The Spa that draws inspiration from the wellness practices of the Nizams, creates an exceptional experience for the mind, body and soul. Where attars and instrumentals waft through the air, technology and tradition intertwine and new beauty intersects with ancient wisdom, a visit to The Spa turned out to be a delightful experience for me. I chose a spa journey that lasted for three hours and consisted of a scrub followed by a wrap followed by a massage and a facial and almost dozed off in the midst of the treatment as my therapist was really efficient.
