Posed in several eye-catching designs, Sofia Vergara effortlessly commemorates the Italian luxury fashion house’s latest line of handbags. The 47-year-old Colombian-American actress is the new face of Dolce and Gabbana, shooting a spectacular campaign for their new Devotion bag.

Taking to social media, Vergara shared a photo of herself pictured wearing a sheer black dress alongside the black bag. Shot by Slovak photographer Branislav Simoncik at the port of Portofino, the campaign has all the ingredients for bona fide success. She told her 18.7 million followers that she was honored to be a part of the Dolce Gabbana family and delighted to be featured in such a meaningful campaign celebrating the gorgeous Devotion bag! Looking breath-taking, Vergara shot on the bright blue Mediterranean Sea, surrounded by lush native flowers creating a beautiful canvas of Italian loveliness.

Expressing a deep sense of pride and excitement while acknowledging Italy’s arduous battle against Covid-19, the celebrity gushes over her new partnership and its latest collection, stating, “This is a brand I have loved for so long. I am feeling grateful to have shot this in Italy, where I have so many special memories. Sending love to all of Italia. I❤️U D&G!!”

The actress was last seen in the role of Gloria Delgado-Pritchett in the acclaimed series Modern Family, finally said goodbye to the part this month after more than a decade on US television. She wore several eye-catching designs for the campaign, but the most stand outlook is the glamorous leopard print dress. Another great look was a floral gown showcasing Sofia’s sensational curves.

Dolce & Gabbana recently teamed up with Humanitas University in Italy, playing their part in supporting research to help combat the coronavirus. In a recent media statement, the founders, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, conveyed that they felt the need to do something to fight this devastating virus. They felt the importance of making the right choices to support the industry.

“Professor Alberto Mantovani is the person leading his team of researchers fighting the coronavirus at Humanitas University. He informed us of the African story about a hummingbird where animals fleeing a fire in the forest fly in the opposite direction. In contrast, the hummingbird continues to bring water back to the nest in their attempt to quench the fire.”

“We understood that in any case, it was worth doing something. Even a minimal gesture can have enormous significance.”

The designers see this as a moral duty to help to solve this dramatic problem in whichever way they can. They said: “Supporting scientific research is a moral duty for us. We hope our contribution will help to solve this dramatic problem.”
