Healing Waters, a plastic surgery clinic, wellness center and full service spa, has announced the launch of their newest location, partnering with Palmetto Health, one of the largest health care systems in South Carolina. The 6,931 square-foot spa will offer complimentary services to patients being treated at Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge. The spa, scheduled to open in January 2015, will be located on the Palmetto Health Baptist Parkridge campus in northwest Columbia.
Palmetto Health Healing Waters will be open to everyone in the community. Services being offered include traditional spa treatments such as anti-aging Pure MD® facials, massage therapy and Healing Waters’ body rituals. Other services, such as medical aesthetic procedures, will include Botox and dermal fillers, reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery, and wellness activities.
“As a health care provider, we believe in caring for the whole person –mind, body and spirit– so this opportunity to form a strategic alliance with Healing Waters brings us closer to fulfilling our vision of providing extraordinary care for every patient, every time,” said Sarah Richter Kirby, acute care executive of Baptist Parkridge. “To be able to provide complimentary spa services to patients that help them relax is a wonderful addition to the excellent medical care that our team members are already providing.”
Amanda Gorecki, president and founder of Healing Waters, added, “At Healing Waters, our goal is to help our guests and patients live healthier, happier lives by integrating our transformational principles into all of our service offerings and customer interactions. We place great emphasis on positively influencing each person’s life choices. Our partnership with Palmetto Health will be a huge asset in providing more patients the opportunity to experience personal empowerment as well as a healthy relationship with themselves and their bodies.”
