The ambitious program has developed large yachts due to significant financial investment which have added two new generation steel structure sheds – each of 58.5 x 137 meters and a height of 30.4 meters, and both are equipped with two gantry cranes with a maximum capacity of 40 tons – allowing the company to build three yachts in parallel. The 108-meter FB275 follows the 107-meter FB277 launched December 2018 followed in February by FB272.As one of the only shipyards in the world with the capacity and capabilities to build yachts over 100-meters long, the new 108-meter FB275 sets new standards for luxury yachts. Encompassing more than 1,000 sqm of exterior space, its exterior lines were designed by British firm RWD, with Benetti’s in-house team creating the interior.Spread across five decks: Observation, Bridge, Owner’s, Main and Lower, the highlights of the yacht include a cinema, gym with sauna and drop-down balcony. From stunning views on the Observation Deck to the firepit on the Bridge Deck and exclusive dining and seating areas on the Owner’s Deck, a massive heated swimming pool can be found on the Main Deck and a 10-meter tender and eight maxi jet skis on the Lower Deck.With a beam of 14.5 meters with a draft of 4.4 meters and displacement of 3,600 tons, the yacht has a range of 6,500 nautical miles at 14 knots.The yacht’s main propulsion comes from two MTU diesel engines rated at 2880 kW each enabling a maximum speed of around 18.5 knots. FB275 is also equipped with two Rolls-Royce variable-pitch bow thrusters rated 200 kW each, which are integrated with the stern thruster with a DP system interface realized by Rolls Royce. The stabilizer system is completed with four fins supplied by Naiad-dynamics.
