When the world is grappled in the terrors of a virus, it is upon us to help and aid everyone to restore the balance of our world. Tiffany & Co., one of the biggest jewelry brand has come forward to do its bit.

It’s astounding to see what alterations a virus threat can do which we never could. While the earth is taking a breather, our lives have certainly changed and maybe for good. With the closure of schools, public places, tourist spots, and workplaces we are not in the creeping need to find something to do. While we must stay inside to help our governments to eradicate this pandemic, we now see the leading brands and conglomerates come together to help and do their due.

As the number of the infected has crossed over 500 thousand in the United States, Since its inception in 1837, Tiffany & Co. has been guided by the belief that a successful company has a responsibility to the greater community. Tiffany & Co. Foundation has announced a one-million-dollar commitment to COVID-19 related causes on April 06. The Foundation is urgently allocating $750,000 to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization, powered by the UN Foundation and $250,000 to The New York Community Trust’s NYC COVID-19 Response & Impact Fund. Tiffany & Co. is also proud to match employee donations to any qualified non-profit organization supporting COVID-19 relief, dollar for dollar.

Foundation.

The COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization (WHO) prioritizes the greatest needs around the world to help ensure all countries are prepared, especially those with the health systems. The NYC COVID-19 Response & Impact Fund aids non-profit social service and arts and culture organizations struggling with the health and economic effects of the coronavirus.

In addition, the Tiffany & Co. Foundation has signed onto Philanthropy’s Commitment during COVID-19 Pledge alongside over 500 other philanthropic organizations, a signal from foundations to grantees that they are ready to support flexibility they need so they can respond quickly and confidently in these difficult times. Coming together and co-operating to the fullest is the only way we can overcome these days of horror with a ray of hope and trust that we will soon see better days.
