Give a big warm welcome to The Westminster London. A hotel that has recently joined Hilton’s Curio Collection, with that, it has also undergone a multi-million-pound renovation to appeal to the contemporary wanderlust. Located in the heart of historic London, this hotel is surrounded by some of the capital’s most famous landmarks including The Houses of Parliament, ‘Big Ben’, Westminster Abbey, Tate Britain, and MI5, and it takes inspiration from its very unique location. And so, cue themes of intrigue and anonymity that is matched with a playful balance between the traditional and the modern, that just adds to the whole experience of staying at the hotel. With attentive staff, an enviable location, and all the amenities that you could want, this hotel is a must-stay in the city of London.
The rooms are divided into eight categories, and the 464 spacious and bright rooms, along with the suites have all been expertly designed to ensure all travelers are well-equipped for their stay in the capital. The rooms feature separate bedroom and dressing areas, artworks, floor-to-ceiling windows to give an airy feel, and there’s plenty of mood lighting. When it comes to the amenities, there’s a 49-inch TV, a high-pressure rainfall shower, bespoke toiletries, and a Nespresso machine to provide that morning caffeine hit. Also, a selection of the rooms have incredible riverside views that look out over the city, and to top it off there’s a 24hr gym situated on the 13th floor.
A real highlight is the STK Steakhouse, the modern steakhouse-meets-chic lounge, which is located on the hotel’s first floor. This is the second restaurant to open within the group in London, and offers the complete dining experience, with fine dining menus, attentive service as well as resident DJs, and a high-energy atmosphere to provide the atmosphere. Adjacent to the restaurant is the hotel’s very own bowling alley with a private bar, perfect for hosting intimate events for up to 40 guests. Also, found on the ground floor is a new dining concept, Bao Yum, which offers a whole host of ‘bao-centric’ options to grab-and-go or dine-in for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, alongside a variety of salads, soups, sandwiches, and snacks.
There are three ground-floor meeting rooms that have been impeccably designed to play host to a range of corporate and leisure events. Hosting up to 115 guests, each space features fast connectivity, built-in high tech, ultra HD interactive displays, and all with natural daylight, ideal for those meetings.
The Westminster’s aesthetic mirrors the property’s lively but intimate and historic setting. Each space evokes a sense of mystery and curiosity through its design, giving the feeling that’s there more than meets the eye – cue the signature artwork featuring partly hidden portraits, matched with dark and sultry color tones. With its key location in the capital, The Westminster London offers those traveling, whether it’s for business or for leisure, the perfect opportunity to explore the cultural and historic landmarks of London, whilst also experiencing the welcoming hospitality and contemporary amenities within the hotel.
