New York Yankees designated hitter and 14-time MLB All-Star, Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez, has joined the ranks of celebrity buyers at GranParaiso, the final and most luxurious condominium tower in the ten-acre Paraiso oasis.
A-Rod scored a 3,200 square-foot penthouse with breathtaking views and expansive 12-foot ceilings on the 53rd level of the signature glass tower. Paraiso is prime real estate for high-profile entertainers and athletes who want a peaceful refuge within proximity to Miami’s hottest cultural and social hubs. Neighbors include DJ and music producer David Guetta, Barcelona-born World No. 1 tennis champion Arantxa Sánchez Vicario, and NBA champion Manu Ginóbili, guard for the San Antonio Spurs.
Italian superstar Piero Lissoni designed the lobby and sprawling public spaces at GranParaiso. He also conceptualized designs for the community’s ONE Paraiso development (sold out and under construction), as well as Guetta’s upper penthouse unit.
Residents of GranParaiso will enjoy unparalleled social and leisure-centered amenities such as a 100-foot zero-entry circular pool, tennis courts, outdoor yoga, and Pilates room, putting green, children’s pool, fitness and spa, bowling lanes, virtual golf, theatre, wine tasting salon, and cigar room, among others. All residences will feature spacious flow-through bayfront layouts with 10-foot ceilings and 12-foot on penthouse floors. The high-rise will also boast a carefully curated and diverse art collection by The Related Group, including a sinuous black marble sculpture by Uruguayan master sculptor Pablo Atchugarry on GranParaiso’s spacious pool deck.
The design-focused ten acres features a host of global design talent, including stunning architecture by Arquitectonica, interior designs by Lissoni, United Design Partnership, and Karim Rashid, and lush landscaping created by Swiss import Enzo Enea.
At the center is Paraiso Beach Club—featuring an original restaurant concept by James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz and interiors designed by New York’s Meyer Davis. Paraiso residents will have access to waterfront dining and watersport activities from the private on-site boat slips designed to enjoy the Biscayne waters and incomparable Miami sunshine.
