Following an extensive renovation, the spa at Coworth Park, Ascot, has reopened, and the result is as serene as it is sophisticated. Set within 240 acres of rolling Berkshire in the English countryside, the spa merges with its beautiful surroundings, with a design that focuses on and enhances nature.
The architecture reflects this ethos: partially embedded into the landscape, the building features a living roof planted with herbs used in signature treatments. Here, it’s a space built to slow you down, connecting indoors and outdoors. Among the updates is the newly built thermal suite, now housing a Finnish sauna, a citrine-crystal steam room, and a snow shower. This interplay of hot and cold therapies is known to stimulate circulation, boost clarity, and support physical recovery for 360-degree wellness.
Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the expanded gym, now home to the UK’s first Technogym Luxury Artis line, where performance meets gallery-worthy design. There’s also a state-of-the-art Technogym Checkup station, which analyses posture, mobility, and strength to deliver workouts precisely tailored to the body.
In the treatment wing, eight tranquil rooms named after local botanicals set the stage for therapies created in partnership with luxury skincare names like Ishga, Wildsmith, Made for Life Organics, and Natura Bissé. A new consultation process personalises every session, from skin analysis to intention-setting and even custom soundscapes.
A highlight for the summer season? The Natura Bissé “Oxygen Bubble.” This futuristic pod, filled with 99.9% pure air, acts like a reset button for both skin and nervous system. The treatment delivers a kind of jet-lag-proof, glow-inducing calm that’s hard to beat.
Post-treatment, the spa café offers clean seasonal dishes by Executive Chef Adam Smith. On the menu are vibrant grain bowls, pressed juices, and botanical teas, served either inside or out on the terrace overlooking wildflower meadows and horse-dotted paddocks.
Wellness at Coworth doesn’t stop at the spa doors; the estate offers an evolving program of outdoor rituals, including guided foraging walks, open-air sound healing, yoga on the lawn, and equine-assisted mindfulness, all of which have been specially designed to help guests slow down and reconnect.
Stay & Spa packages from £1,020 include breakfast, a treatment per guest, and dining credit.
