Introduced as an evolution of the 2022 debut, the new edition brings two fresh dial variations — one in pink, the other in blue. At its heart, the in-house Calibre 734 powers a shooting star display that appears at random as the wearer moves, recreating the surprise of a real meteor.

Inspired by the Mystery of the Night Sky
Astronomical complications have long been a signature of fine watchmaking. However, shooting stars stand apart from regular celestial patterns. They appear suddenly, vanish in seconds, and leave a lasting impression. The Calibre 734, built from 335 precision components, captures that fleeting beauty with mechanical precision. This mechanism is entirely designed and assembled in Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Vallée de Joux Manufacture, underscoring the brand’s mastery.

Artistry in Every Layer
The dial showcases the work of the Atelier des Métiers Rares™. On the pink peony model, artisans spend over 110 hours applying nine shades of lacquer. The blue peony version takes 80 hours and twelve shades.
Painting begins on the underside of the sapphire disc to create a mirrored foliage effect, then continues on the front for the petals. Beneath, a rotating mother-of-pearl disc airbrushed in rich blues carries a cut-out shooting star. As it moves, it reveals a silver-toned layer, simulating a flash across the night sky.
Diamond Brilliance
The pink peony version glitters with 625 brilliant-cut diamonds (≈6.31 carats) across its case, dial, and bracelet. The blue peony features 189 diamonds (≈1.47 carats) and pairs with a glossy blue alligator strap. Diamond-set bezels, lugs, and crowns frame each celestial scene.
