Debuting at COUTURE this year, British fine jewelry brand By Pariah steps into the spotlight with a collection that celebrates its signature sculptural minimalism, honed through intuition rather than formal training. With a background in luxury fashion communications, Sophie Howard founded the label in 2018. She brings her instinctive design eye to a new evolution of the brand, one rooted in elemental forms and refined layers. Central to this season’s presentation are the stacking stories — elevated ring and necklace stacks that expand the brand’s foundational philosophy of layering with intention. Each piece adds dimension and purpose, shares Sophie, who’s introduced new baguette and emerald-cut stones into the mix alongside hand-beaded necklaces, each requiring up to four days to complete. These are more than adornments; they’re tactile compositions designed for reinvention; pieces meant to be worn in “new and elevated ways.”

A highlight of the collection is the Aurora Diamond Pendant, a quietly arresting piece crafted in 100% recycled 14k gold and natural diamonds: inspired by the “side profile of a shell” and the “ethereal beauty of the aurora borealis,” its subtle heart-shaped form glows with a bold, structured energy. “It’s sculptural, romantic, but never soft,” Sophie adds. Elsewhere, the bestselling Triple Diamond Ring returns in a slightly refined form; its trio of diamonds symbolizing balance and modern elegance.

With materials as carefully considered as the design, sustainability becomes a mindset at the brand. From responsibly sourced, untreated gemstones to recycled precious metals certified by the Responsible Jewellery Council, Sophie’s ethos is “grounded in intention and respect” for both nature and the artisans who shape each piece.

By Pariah’s debut at COUTURE is more about resonance: minimalist and modern fine jewelry with a deep sense of restraint and thoughtful design.
