This fall, Tuckernuck and Barbour are dropping a capsule that brings a new twist to heritage outerwear.
The ten pieces lean on Barbour’s waxed and quilted classics, but with a Tuckernuck edge: floral prints, feminine cuts, and playful trims give the jackets and vests a lighter, more modern feel.
The idea took shape last summer when Tuckernuck’s founders — Jocelyn, Maddy, and September — flew to Barbour’s home base in South Shields. They spent days digging through archives, pulling swatches, and refining details with Nicola Brown, Barbour’s womenswear director. A stop at the waxing facility gave them a close-up look at the craftsmanship that’s kept the brand relevant for more than a century.

“Barbour has been the benchmark for British countryside style,” said Maddy Grayson. “We wanted to respect that legacy, but also add an American spirit. Shooting in Virginia Hunt Country felt like the perfect backdrop.”
For Tuckernuck, the project is personal. Barbour was one of the first brands the retailer carried, and the connection has only deepened over the years.
“As one of our earliest partners, working on this collection together feels especially meaningful,” said CEO Jocelyn Gailliot. The collection lands just in time for crisp-weather layering, serving up old favorites with a new, cool perspective.
