The enduring appeal of the Amels Limited Editions series continues to resonate with discerning yacht owners. Damen Yachting has announced the sale of its latest Amels 60, a 60-metre superyacht distinguished by bespoke interiors from London-based design studio Harrison Eidsgaard and the unmistakable exterior lines of Espen Øino.

Currently in the final stages of outfitting at Damen Yachting’s shipyard in Vlissingen, the Netherlands, the yacht has already completed sea trials and is scheduled for delivery in 2026. The sale marks the second Amels 60 sold within the past ten months, reaffirming the strength and flexibility of the Limited Editions platform.

A Proven Platform, Tailored to the Owner

What makes this sale particularly notable is the timing. The owner joined the project at a relatively late stage, yet was still able to meaningfully personalize the yacht through close collaboration with Damen Yachting and the design team.

“The sale of this latest Amels 60 is a great example of our collaborative approach,” said Jorrit Pilaar, Commercial Executive EMEA at Damen Yachting. “This owner was able to take a proven platform and customize the yacht, even at a late stage. It truly showcases the flexibility and appeal of our Limited Editions concept.”

A Distinctive Exterior, A Refined New Interior Language

The yacht’s exterior bears the signature of Espen Øino, defined by strong, contemporary lines and trapezoid windows that have become a hallmark of the Amels Limited Editions series. Inside, Harrison Eidsgaard introduces a markedly different aesthetic from its previous Amels 60 collaboration.

“Marking a shift from the natural hues of the previous Amels 60 we designed, this yacht is something entirely different,” said Ben Harrison, Director at Harrison Eidsgaard. “It presents an elevated level of sophistication and glamour, with navy accents and rich walnut.”

The result is an interior that feels both confident and refined, balancing modern elegance with a sense of timeless luxury.

Designed for Performance, Comfort, and Connection to the Sea

Equipped with a hybrid MTU propulsion system, the Amels 60 offers quiet, efficient cruising and the ability to operate in a low-emission mode—reducing both environmental impact and onboard noise. With a volume of 853 gross tonnes, the yacht provides generous living spaces for up to 12 guests, supported by a crew of 12 plus captain, making her equally suited for private ownership or charter.

Among her standout features is the expansive Sun Deck, complete with a Jacuzzi, along with a touch-and-go helipad on the foredeck. The Owner’s suite, located on the main deck, includes a fold-down balcony that creates a private connection to the sea.

Perhaps most compelling is the yacht’s Beach Club, conceived as a central hub for relaxation and entertainment. With a full-height glass door opening directly onto the swim platform, the space blurs the boundary between interior and ocean, reinforcing the Amels philosophy of life lived close to the water.

A Contemporary Classic in the Making

With a top speed of 15.5 knots and a transoceanic range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots, this Amels 60 embodies the blend of performance, comfort, and customization that has become synonymous with Damen Yachting.

As the yacht approaches her 2026 delivery, this latest sale underscores the enduring relevance of the Amels Limited Editions concept—offering owners the confidence of a proven platform, paired with the freedom to create something distinctly their own.
