Showcased ahead of the 2019 British GP, the Aston Martin Valkyrie wows at its public debut at Silverstone. The Valkyrie was piloted by Aston Martin High-Performance Test Driver Chris Goodwin for its first public demonstration run in front of an enthusiastic crowd.

Although it was only a quick glimpse into the extraordinary hypercar, this highly anticipated debut marked a significant achievement after both Aston Martin and Red Bull Advanced Technologies’ engineers spent months of digital modeling and simulation work. Created as a result of a technical and strategic collaboration between Aston Martin, Red Bull Advanced Technologies, and project partner AF Racing, the 1,160bhp showed the team’s cutting-edge development techniques.

The technologically advanced hypercar still needs to undergo a rigorous physical testing process, but displayed a glimpse of the car’s eventual potential. “We have created a truly unique, beautiful rear mid-engined hypercar in Aston Martin Valkyrie, that represents the ultimate fusion of art and technology,” said Marek Reichman, Aston Martin Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer.
