Founded in the UK in 1966, Bowers & Wilkins develops premium loudspeakers, headphones, custom installation products, and in-car audio systems, with the Px8 S2 positioned as its leading wireless over-ear headphone.
The company has added two new finishes to the Px8 S2 lineup, expanding the model’s color range with the introduction of Midnight Blue and Pearl Blue. The new versions join the existing Onyx Black, Warm Stone, and McLaren Edition options, bringing the total number of Px8 S2 finishes to five. Both retain the same construction as current models, combining Nappa leather with aluminum detailing, and there are no changes to acoustic performance or hardware specification. The model continues to carry the same multi-award-winning tuning as earlier versions.
The update follows recent finish additions across the Px7 S3 over-ear headphones and Pi8 true wireless earbuds. Together, the changes bring the company’s wireless headphone and earbud portfolio to a total of twenty-one color variants, the widest selection it has offered across its personal audio range. The Px8 S2 remains the company’s flagship wireless over-ear model and sits at the top of its headphone lineup.
Bowers & Wilkins maintains longstanding partnerships with Abbey Road Studios and has worked with David Beckham in recent headphone campaigns. The company has also collaborated with McLaren Automotive since 2015 on in-car audio systems and special-edition headphone releases, and serves as the Official Audio Partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team, whose drivers and crew use its headphones during travel and race preparation. Its automotive audio systems are developed in partnership with manufacturers including BMW and Volvo, and its 800 Series loudspeakers continue to serve as reference monitors at Abbey Road Studios.
The Midnight Blue and Pearl Blue editions are now available, priced at $799.
