Two iconic brands from very different worlds are celebrating major milestones this year. Jack Daniel’s and McLaren Racing have introduced a limited-edition Tennessee whiskey for the 2026 Formula 1 season. The release marks McLaren’s upcoming 1000th Grand Prix and the 160th anniversary of the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee.

This bottle represents the fourth annual collaboration between the two partners. Since joining forces, the brands have produced limited releases that attract collectors and racing enthusiasts alike. The partnership blends heritage craftsmanship with motorsport prestige.

Bottled at a higher-than-usual 86 proof (43% ABV), the 2026 McLaren Mastercard F1 Team x Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey offers a richer take on the distillery’s classic style. The whiskey uses Jack Daniel’s traditional grain bill of 80 percent corn, 8 percent rye, and 12 percent malted barley.

As with every bottle produced in Lynchburg, the spirit undergoes charcoal mellowing. The distillery filters it slowly through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal before aging it in new American white oak barrels.

The process creates a familiar yet slightly bolder profile. Expect notes of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak, along with a smooth, creamy finish that remains unmistakably Jack Daniel’s.

The bottle design draws heavily from McLaren’s motorsport heritage. Its wrap graphic reflects the visual theme the team will use to celebrate its 1000th Formula 1 Grand Prix throughout the 2026 racing season.

“Jack Daniel’s and McLaren both share a dedication to heritage and innovation,” said Mark Bacon, SVP and Global Managing Director for Jack Daniel’s. The limited release, he added, gives fans a premium way to celebrate both brands.

For McLaren, the collaboration highlights a shared spirit of craftsmanship and ambition. Nick Martin, McLaren Racing’s Co-Chief Commercial Officer, described the whiskey as a fitting tribute as the team approaches its 1000th Formula 1 Grand Prix during the Miami race weekend.

The limited-edition bottle will launch this month across global Formula 1 Grand Prix markets and select retailers worldwide. For collectors, racing fans, and whiskey enthusiasts alike, the release celebrates a unique meeting point between American distilling tradition and the high-octane world of Formula 1.
