Coffee is part of every day for most of us. As are home fragrance choices. So why not combine both? And smell coffee wherever you go and whatever room you are in.
Iconic color specialist Pantone selects a color each year that captures the global zeitgeist—the Color of the Year expresses a global mood and an attitude, reflecting collective desire in the form of a single, distinct hue.
Home fragrance brand Pura has collaborated with Pantone to launch two new home fragrances – Mocha Suede and Mocha Moments – alongside the Pura 4 diffuser in the Mocha Mousse colorway.
Says Leatrice Eiseman Exec Director, Pantone Color Institute: “Underpinned by our desire for everyday pleasures, PANTONE 17-1230 Mocha Mousse expresses a level of thoughtful indulgence. Sophisticated and lush, yet at the same time an unpretentious classic, PANTONE 17-1230 Mocha Mousse extends our perceptions of the browns from being humble and grounded to embracing aspirational and luxe.”
Adds Vice-President Laurie Pressman: The Pantone Color of the Year is a mellow brown hue whose inherent richness and sensorial and comforting warmth extends further into our desire for comfort, and the indulgence of simple pleasures that we can gift and share with others.”
Fragrance has become an essential part of interior design. We have all become enthusiastic about scent scapers Using scent in design has become a part of the creative and design process, along with color, texture, furniture, fixtures, sound, and lighting. This is why Pantone has also collaborated with brands such as Joybird and Spoonflower to disperse your chocolate and coffee love further. You can wear coffee with Janari cashmere stoles and scarves and Oyuna shawls and sweaters.
Pantone has also partnered with Motorola to bring you a Pantone mocha phone. You can wear mocha-colored Libratone headphones and earbuds snuggled up in your mocha-comfy chair. Post-it notes now also come in Mocha Mousse.
Pura’s best-selling fragrances include Volcano, Santal Vanilla, Frasier Fir, Lines & Surf, Grapefruit, and Coconut Calm. Maui Mango and Honeycrisp Oakwood. Its latest diffuser, Pura Plus, is designed for larger spaces and vaulted ceilings, providing extra scent dispersion. Two fragrance vials provide up to eight hours of scents a day. With the Pura smart app, your diffuser can “read the room” and know when it’s coffee time and time for some grounded luxury.
Adds Pantone Color Institute’s Laure Pressman: “As people continue to seek harmony and balance, there is a shift to focus on curating moments or experiences that help boost their sense of personal comfort and wellness. As a result, there has been an increased trend to elevate the every day and take joy in the moment. From sweet treats to nature walks, we are reaching further into our desire for comfort, and the indulgence of simple pleasures that we can also gift and share with others.
In answering our desire for comfort and connection, the self-treating goes even further.
Dropping in April is the Ipsy x Pantone Mocha Mousse Make Up Collection, available exclusively in the IPSY Shop and TikTok shop.
