As a researcher, looking for anything ‘quite interesting’ beginning with the letter A, he discovered that there are 27 ways of describing both moustaches and eyebrows in Albanian. He then read all the world’s dictionaries to write 3 books for Penguin Press on all the most interesting words in the world’s languages. He is now a luxury travel journalist and has visited over 40 countries in the last few years.
