In celebration of its 25th anniversary, Italian accessories brand Gianni Chiarini has launched a limited edition capsule collection, and if that wasn’t enough, it’s been coincided with the reopening of its boutique on Via della Vigna Nuova in Florence, a new space that balances tradition with modernity, a signature trait of this label.
Over the past twenty-five years, Gianni Chiarini Firenze has become known for its refined, understated design — no flashy logos — with a focus on craftsmanship. It’s only fitting, then, that to mark this milestone, the brand revisits its most beloved models, updating them to offer a fresh take on the classics.
Expect six key designs, each representing a chapter in the brand’s history. DUA, available in three sizes, remains a key piece, along with Aurora, with its defined trapezoidal silhouette, and Alifa, a favorite thanks to its minimalist lines. Helena Round, the very first bag to bear the Gianni Chiarini name, has been reissued as a tribute to the brand’s roots, while Marcella remains a benchmark in tote design, and finally, Bloom reflects the brand’s evolving creativity and contemporary style. Each of the designs comes in two materials, the signature double bubble leather and straw, which channels summer dressing.
A notable feature of the collection is its use of cocciopesto, a material rooted in Tuscan architectural history, and this highlights the brand’s strong connection to its Florentine origins. This influence extends to the collection’s color palette, led by the specially created “mocha mousse” hue, a warm, neutral tone that’s both classic and contemporary.
