Maison Crivelli is rolling out Cuir InfraRouge, a unisex extrait de parfum created with perfumer Jordi Fernandez, launching worldwide this month after a limited Selfridges debut last year.
This latest entry in the Olfactory Shocks collection is built around the combination of supple leather and a vibrant raspberry accord, inspired by founder Thibaud Crivelli’s memory of drinking a raspberry cocktail at an electronic music festival. The result? Well, it’s a fragrance that’s playful and dark, neon-bright yet traditional.
Cuir InfraRouge opens with raspberry, bergamot, mandarin, and bitter orange before settling into a suede leather heart blended with orris, cinnamon, and cedarwood. The drydown is warmer and moodier, layering oud with vanilla and tonka bean for long-lasting depth. And at 32%, this vegan extract is designed to make a statement.
While Maison Crivelli presents it as unisex, Cuir InfraRouge also taps into a lineage of leather fragrances long associated with men’s perfumery. Leather has always carried an air of confidence and sophistication, and here it is reimagined with a bright raspberry twist that makes the fragrance feel unexpected and contemporary.
Other Maison Crivelli Scents Men Already Love
Maison Crivelli doesn’t label its perfumes by gender, but several creations have become favorites among men. Oud Maracujá is a daring oud brightened with passion fruit, and the Iris Malikhân offers a fresh, woody spin on the scent.
