Founded in 2017, footwear brand Morjas brings together the best of Sweden and the Mediterranean, combining Scandinavian minimalism with traditional craftsmanship. Each pair is handmade in Spain through a process that takes more than eight weeks and 128 steps. Materials are sourced from European tanneries, resulting in footwear that feels calm, grounded, and built to last.
For A/W, the label focuses on refinement and texture, think grain leather, nubuck, and calfskin, forming the backbone of the collection. “Each season is about refinement rather than reinvention,” says founder Henrik Berg. “This collection builds on our core silhouettes, introducing new arrivals that share the same sense of continuity. It’s about warmth and structure, made for the rhythm of colder months.”

The Moc Toe Chukka leads the collection; it’s a sturdier version of the classic chukka, and features a split-toe moccasin construction, storm welt, and lug sole, coming in black grain and brown grain with brown suede. This sits alongside the Country Boot, which is made in brown nubuck and brown grain leather, with derby lacing and a treated mudguard for practical water resistance.

There’s also newness in the form of the Pony Hair Belt, which joins the range and is cut from hair-on calfskin in black or brown. At 25mm wide, it’s slim and tactile, adding contrast to the season’s heavier textures. Returning styles like the Hybrid Hiker appear in updated materials, including pony hair. Scandi form and function at its best.
