Luxury has always been about more than objects. It is about atmosphere, experience, and the way a place makes people feel.

This philosophy lies at the heart of the new Claire Dominics Buro creative space in Dubai, unveiled as the studio celebrates five years of the group’s presence in the UAE. Conceived as a hybrid interior design studio, art gallery, library, and hospitality lounge, the space represents a physical expression of the values that have shaped the practice from the beginning: craftsmanship, creativity, curiosity, and human connection.

Rather than creating a conventional office, the team set out to design a place where conversations could unfold naturally. Clients are welcomed not into meeting rooms, but into a carefully curated environment where architecture, art, materials, books, and objects coexist. It is a space designed to encourage discovery and reflect the studio’s approach to luxury hospitality design and interior architecture.

The interiors reflect the studio’s own design philosophy. Raw urban materials such as exposed concrete, brick, and steel create a bold architectural framework, while bespoke joinery, rich textiles, and carefully layered lighting introduce warmth and comfort. Black and white serve as the dominant palette, creating contrast without conflict. Industrial and refined, masculine and soft, structured and inviting, the opposing elements are brought together into a seamless whole.

In many ways, the studio itself becomes a design object — a living manifestation of the balance that Claire Dominics Buro seeks to achieve within its hospitality and residential design projects.

Art occupies a central role throughout the space. A dedicated gallery has been integrated into the studio, reflecting the belief that art should never be treated as an afterthought. Throughout its hospitality and high-end residential projects, Claire Dominics Buro has long viewed art as an essential component of storytelling and placemaking, capable of adding emotional resonance, cultural depth, and individuality to an environment.

The gallery allows this dialogue between art and interior architecture to exist on a daily basis. It serves as both an exhibition platform and a source of inspiration, enabling clients and visitors to experience firsthand the transformative role art can play within a space.

The creative space also houses an extensive design library and material archive built over years of international work. Books on architecture, art, travel, culture, and design sit alongside collections of stone, wood, textiles, metals, and handcrafted finishes. Together they form an evolving resource for both the studio and its clients, encouraging exploration through touch, observation, and conversation.

While the new space marks an important milestone, it also reflects a broader vision for the future. Claire Dominics Buro continues to expand its work across luxury hospitality interiors and high-end residential design, creating environments that engage all the senses while embracing sustainability and biophilic design principles. The studio believes that meaningful luxury is increasingly defined not only by aesthetics, but by authenticity, wellbeing, longevity, and connection to nature.

Claire Dominics Buro is part of Globinter Group, bringing over 20 years of experience in contracting, fit-out, and turnkey project delivery. This foundation allows the studio to move seamlessly between creative direction and execution, while maintaining a clear and independent design voice. In 2025, the company was awarded a Luxury Lifestyle Award for Best Luxury Interior Visualisation and Design project for Turquoise Apartment in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

For the team, the new Dubai creative space is more than a workplace. It is a reflection of who they are, what they value, and how they believe design should be experienced — not simply seen, but felt.
