The Art Deco Rivoli Bar at the Ritz Hotel in London now offers a whisky experience unlike anything else in the world. For £1,950, guests can explore a rare flight built around The Dalmore Cask Curation Series: The Port Edition. It is a moment of pure indulgence for collectors and whisky lovers alike.

This exclusive tasting features three aged Single Malts—27, 30, and 43 years old—created in partnership with Graham’s Port. Each whisky was finished in exceptional Port casks, which add depth, richness, and The Dalmore’s signature chocolate-orange profile.

Only 150 sets of this limited-edition release exist. Each set costs £35,000, yet the Ritz is the only place in the world where guests can try the trio by the glass. As a result, the experience feels both rare and deeply luxurious.

Two Icons Come Together

The collaboration between The Dalmore and The Ritz London unites two names known for refinement. Since 1906, the hotel has been a symbol of London’s elegance. It’s Rivoli Bar, with its warm lighting and Art Deco curves, that offers a fitting stage for such an extraordinary flight.

Meanwhile, The Dalmore continues to expand its celebrated Cask Curation Series. The third chapter, The Red Wine Cask Edition, has just been released at £36,100, reinforcing the distillery’s dedication to innovation.

A Legacy Built on Craft and Heritage

Every bottle from The Dalmore carries the 12-point Royal Stag. The emblem dates back to 1263, when Colin of Kintail saved King Alexander III from a charging stag. The grateful king granted the clan its now-iconic symbol. When the Mackenzie family took over the distillery in 1867, the stag became part of The Dalmore’s identity.

The distillery itself was founded in 1839 and has created exceptional whisky for more than 180 years. Its connection to Graham’s Port began when Symington Family Estates purchased the brand in 1970. In 2015, the company received a Royal Warrant—another mark of its prestige.

For decades, Richard Paterson OBE guided The Dalmore’s style. His work in cask curation shaped modern whisky making. Today, Master Whisky Maker Gregg Glass continues that legacy with a fresh, forward-looking approach.

Inside the Three Expressions

Each whisky in The Port Edition offers a distinct profile:

  • 27 Years — Dark fruits, warm honey, and gentle spice create a balanced and inviting taste.

  • 30 Years — The Dalmore’s chocolate-orange signature appears with new depth from the Port casks.

  • 43 Years — Finished in Graham’s 1952 Single Harvest Tawny Port casks, this whisky shows forest fruits, tropical notes, and exceptional complexity.

The flight is served in custom crystal glassware, which enhances both aroma and presentation.

A Display Worthy of Fine Art

The full Port Edition set will be displayed at the Rivoli Bar on a pedestal wrapped in Florentine leather. The presentation mirrors the set’s bespoke packaging and sits beneath a glass cloche, giving the display an almost museum-like presence.
