It’s that magical stretch of the year when Miami Spice takes over the city. Restaurants roll out special three-course menus at can’t-skip prices, and the options swing from Latin heat to refined Asian flavors. If you’re plotting where to eat first, here are two spots making the season worth savoring.

Salty Flame

Brickell’s sleek steakhouse with an Asian twist, Salty Flame, is going all in this year. Lunch runs $35, dinner $60, and the menu balances comfort with a little drama. Starters land you either a citrusy Coconut Ceviche or Shrimp & Pork Dumplings that hit all the right notes. For mains, you can’t really lose: Sweet & Sour Striped Bass, Crab Fried Rice loaded with umami, or the classic New York Strip. Dessert is a toss-up between Banana Pudding and an unapologetically over-the-top six-layer Chocolate Cake.

Casa Matilda

Down in South of Fifth, Casa Matilda is leaning into its Latin roots with bold, generous plates. Their $60 dinner starts with Yucatán-Style Ceviche (all bright acidity and spice) or Oaxaca Crab Enchiladas that go straight for indulgence. The Prime Skirt Steak steals the show — tender, juicy, and unapologetically rich. Dessert is their famous Banana Bread Pudding, warm and comforting, the kind of thing you’ll still be thinking about the next day.
