McLaren and Bowers & Wilkins have a long-standing partnership which now has also resulted in a collaboration of a unique kind with the new Zeppelin McLaren Edition.
After the Px8 McLaren Edition headphone, Bowers & Wilkins has created a specially designed version of its Zeppelin wireless speaker, having a Galvanic Grey finish and a typical McLaren Papaya Orange.
Bowers & Wilkins’s limited-production version of the Zeppelin was created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of McLaren and Bruce McLaren’s legacy. Only sixty pieces of the Zeppelin McLaren 60th Anniversary Edition will be produced.
This limited-edition version features racing livery-inspired colors, including an orange finish along with a Speedy Kiwi on the rear of the product which pays homage to Bruce McLaren’s pioneering vision. The sixty limited-edition models are available exclusively from select McLaren dealerships worldwide. The look is surely striking and gives it a different appeal with the color shade especially.
Being a wireless smart speaker for the streaming age, the Zeppelin comes with left and right speaker assemblies around a central, large subwoofer, all powered by 240W of amplification.
Along with the Zeppelin McLaren Edition, Bowers & Wilkins has also introduced both wireless multi-room capability and new music streaming services via the Music App. The new model, along with all compatible Zeppelins, has multi-room compatibility with both the Panorama 3 and the Formation portfolio of wireless speakers. This means that Bowers & Wilkins users can connect and configure their in-home wireless speaker system, all controlled via the Bowers & Wilkins Music App.
Most recently, the British audio brand has also worked on the audio system of the 750S McLaren which is also the new supercar.

“I am thrilled to introduce the latest addition to our expanding product portfolio developed in collaboration with our partners at McLaren Automotive. The Zeppelin McLaren Edition joins the highly successful Px8 McLaren Edition, creating a uniquely appealing and innovative wireless product range that I’m sure will find eager buyers amongst both fans of McLaren and fans of Bowers & Wilkins alike.” – Dan Shepherd, VP of Licensing & Partnerships, Bowers & Wilkins
