In a beautiful 1927 landmark building, The Mark Hotel is housed at the corner of Madison Avenue and 77th Street on New York’s Upper East Side. The Whitby, which opened February 2017, is the second NYC hotel (Firmdale Hotels consist of 10 hotels in London and New York) from Tim and Kit Kemp, founders of Firmdale Hotels. Situated in Midtown Manhattan on West 56th Street near 5th Avenue, The Whitby is centrally located to New York’s leading restaurants, galleries and museums and two blocks from Central Park.
