In much the same way that bikinis coincide with summer, Camila Ckless and swimwear go hand in hand. Born and raised in Southern Brazil, a country that lives for the beach, it is nothing short of fitting that the Guria Beachwear designer made her way into the swimwear industry.

Although never far from the ocean, entering the fashion industry was far from Camila’s mind as she graduated college with an International Business degree. Influenced by both of her parents’ stints in the apparel industry, Camila easily transitioned into designing. Shortly after, Guria Beachwear was born.

Made in Brazil and inspired by Brazil, Camila’s vision has a narrow focus that yields extraordinary results. From collection to collection you’ll see Camila’s expertise in action: opulent details, distinctive embellishments, texture and marine-inspired prints, all encompassed in a color-rich and bohemian-chic style.

“My free time is spent the same way as when I was in Brazil – beachside in the sun,” says Camila. Talk about the dream job when laying out can double-count as work-related research!

Seven collections in and showing no signs of slowing down, Camila is continuing to make a splash on the American market with her contemporary body-flattering mix-and-match suits. This past year, Camila even opened her first Guria Beachwear brick-and-mortar pop-up shop in her native land and plans to do the same this upcoming summer.
