In the center of all the action, the Bisha Hotel opened November 2017, is the newest, flashy star attraction in the heart of the entertainment district. Walking through the entrance of the Bisha Hotel, you will be greeted to a sexy lobby with black marble floors and crushed black velvet walls. Bisha is the vision of Charles Khabouth and Lifetime Developments, who serve up an upscale lifestyle experience at his first hotel. This 44-floor luxe hotel has 96 hotel rooms and suites and 355 residential condos.
All of the artfully decorated rooms are bringing glamour back with names like The Nina, The Frank, The Oscar, The Grace, The Andy, The Stella, and of course, the suites designed by Kravitz Design (Lenny Kravitz). The rooms range in size from 400 Sq. Ft. to the most lavish suite at 2025 Sq. Ft.
The Stella Suite (905 SQ. FT.), a New York-inspired flat, will lure you with it’s sexy and mysterious decor. Decked out with a plush velvet and leather black sofa, purple velvet chair, black heated marble-lined bathroom floors, accents of chrome, and a wall lined with retro art pieces from Grace Zeppeli. Expect to have the most amazing sleep on a king-sized bed with luxurious Italian Frette sheets. The bathrooms are stocked with Byredo toiletries in the Bal d’Afrique scent, the same scent you will smell throughout the hotel.
The Kravitz Design Floor suites, located on the 7th floor, are soulfully designed with a simplistic palette of earthy tones and wood with a pop of burnt orange for color. All rooms are unique, with bold artwork and accents. All rooms are equipped with Nespresso machines, custom swivel flat screen, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a well-stocked minibar. Some of the suites have large private terraces. The most impressive room is the two-story Bisha Suite. The lavish upgraded suites have kitchens and a dining area.
Pass through the heavy velvet curtains as you head to the dark, mysterious club-like Mister C Bar for a pre-dinner drink. If you are lucky to be staying on a Wednesday (funk night), you will be taken back a couple of decades with a collection of electric tunes. Enjoy some of the fun named cocktails such as the Penicillin, Hanky Panky, or the Polish Peach paired with their appetizer selections of dry-aged beef sliders, avocado tempura, or Eggplant Parm Sliders, just to name a few.
After cocktails head to Akira Back, located on the second floor, for blends of modern Japanese cuisine with authentic Korean flavors such as miso black cod, wagyu tacos, and crispy octopus.
For breakfast the next day, make sure to head to KOST (pronounced “coast”), the coastal California vibes restaurant located on the 44th floor with some of the most beautiful views of the city. The CN Tower is so close; you can almost touch it. Take in the city views from the floor to ceiling windows as you sip on your latte and indulge in the Baja-style cuisine of baked eggs with green chorizo, Vera Cruz sauce, tortilla, and lime crema or if you have a sweet tooth I would highly recommend the coconut pancakes.
After breakfast (during the summer months), spend the day lounging on the 44th-floor infinity pool that is exclusive for guests—experience Toronto’s best views from the rooftop. Head to French Made Cafe, the street-level cafe, for your afternoon java fix and snack.
If you don’t leave the house without your pet, then you will love that the Bisha Hotel is pooch-friendly. Bisha loves pets. Bring your dog with you, and they will make sure they have an unforgettable stay.
Although you won’t want to leave the hotel, the Bisha is located in the heart of it all and is walking distance from all the big tourist spots. Head to the CN Tower for amazing views of the city or if you’re feeling adventurous, the CN Tower Edgewalk. Close by; you will also find the Rogers Centre, Ripley’s Aquarium, and mega games playground the Rec Room.
