In an era when luxury is increasingly defined by meaning, craftsmanship, and personal connection, Sanamama is creating a new category of objects designed to be experienced rather than simply admired. Founded by Gabi Torres, a designer whose background spans art therapy, yoga, energy medicine, and crystal work, Sanamama exists at the intersection of the material and the metaphysical, transforming rare natural stones into fine jewelry, collectible home objects, and sacred spaces.

“Material meets ethereal” is the philosophy at the heart of Sanamama. For Torres, the phrase represents the relationship between an object’s physical beauty and the energy it carries.

“Energy is indeed tangible; it is felt. If someone presents themselves in a space upset or flustered, that energy is felt,” she explains. “Similarly, if someone enters the room with peace, elegance and grace, that is also felt. So, the Sacred Fine Jewelry that we create, or the crystal furniture that we design or even the small to large crystals that we curate, can also be felt when they either enter or exit a room.”

Each Sanamama creation begins with a carefully selected stone chosen not only for its visual beauty but also for its rarity, character and perceived energetic qualities. The process goes beyond traditional jewelry design, focusing on the relationship between the wearer, the material and the intention behind the piece.

“We look for qualities of rarity and power,” she says. “Stones that are energetically progressive and remarkably beautiful and one-of-a-kind. It depends on the impetus for creation. If this is a custom piece for a client, they may have a stone or stones in mind that they were called towards, or they may have an energetic intention in mind that we assist them to source the stone for. For example, if someone is desiring grounding, calling greater prosperity and abundance to their life, or attracting more love, we would choose specific stones for those intentions.”

Every design is approached as a one-of-a-kind expression. Some pieces are created with specific intentions, such as Sanamama’s Tranquility Ring, which pairs a carefully selected stone with a unique cut designed to evoke a sense of calm and balance for the wearer.

As consumers increasingly move away from traditional symbols of status and toward objects with deeper meaning, Sanamama reflects a broader shift in luxury: the desire for authenticity, individuality, and connection.

“I believe that people are moving more and more away from material things just for the look of something everyone has, and into objects and pieces that are unique, one-of-a-kind, and can have a story and meaning that you can pass down to future generations,” Torres says. “Something with an energetic impact on self and whoever gets to receive this piece in the future.”

Sanamama’s approach blends ancient traditions with contemporary luxury, creating pieces that feel both timeless and forward-thinking. “Ancient magic meets a brighter future,” says Torres. “Sanamama is at the forefront of blending the spiritual and material world and providing luxury, craftsmanship, along with an otherworldly and progressive nature.”

Torres’ background in the healing arts continues to shape every aspect of Sanamama’s creative process. While her mediums have evolved from energy work and art therapy to jewelry and interiors, the intention remains the same: to create experiences that positively influence how people feel.

“The jewelry pieces that I design are still a part of the healing arts,” she says. “They have the ability to positively impact and energetically shift the wearer’s life. Our crystal furniture can transform a space into a sacred space, one filled with love and balance. My background has just begun to express itself in these different mediums but with very similar impact and intention.”

Beyond jewelry, Sanamama’s expanding lifestyle collection brings this philosophy into the home through rare crystal furnishings and museum-quality natural stone pieces. Rather than treating objects as simple décor, Torres views them as living expressions of beauty and energy.

“Instead of filling a space with random objects that can make the energy feel heavier or more chaotic, why not surround yourself with pieces that have a positive energetic impact, are visually beautiful, and are naturally created by Mother Earth?” she says.

Sanamama’s crystal furniture is designed to elevate interiors not only aesthetically but experientially, bringing a sense of grounding, harmony, tranquility, or love. The result is a home that becomes a sanctuary.

“I desire people to feel elevated, luxurious, and otherworldly,” says Torres. “I believe that these one-of-a-kind natural crystals elevate any space not only visually but energetically. When they wear our jewelry, I desire for the women to feel like a Goddess and the men to feel unique, connected, and artistic. It is a very specific type of luxury, the one that we offer, and it is in part due to the energy of the natural material we use from Mother Earth, paired with our wisdom on the material, resulting in a piece that presents power.”

At its core, Sanamama represents a new vision of luxury: one where beauty is inseparable from intention, and where the objects we choose to surround ourselves with become reflections of who we are and who we aspire to become. https://sanamama.com/ 1160 Kane Concourse, Suite 101, Bay Harbor Islands, FL 33154
