Loews Miami Beach Hotel

Say a big hello to the newly redesigned Loews Miami Beach Hotel; it’s the only place that you’ll want to stay on South Beach. This luxury hotel, which has undergone a massive $50 million renovation, offers the best of the best from stay to dining and experience, and it’s all oceanside.

Loews Hotel Grand Ocean Front, South Beach
Where the classic meets the contemporary, the hotel itself is made up of luxury 790 guestrooms, of which 69 are gorgeous suites, and the decor is just beautiful. When you’re not lounging in your room, there are the VIP SOAK Cabanas and Daybeds by the pool and facilities, including a gym, a full-service spa, and activities; we love yoga classes to set your day off right.
As for the food, there are six restaurants to choose from on the site. From breakfast to the pool bar to the restaurants, you’ll love it all. Preston’s Market is the place to head for breakfast and make sure you go for the buffet, featuring an omelet bar and local pastries; it is the best! Traditional fares and seafood options are available poolside at Nautilus, where you can enjoy cocktails and beverages (the frose is a favorite there!). Then there’s the award-winning Lure Fishbar, which hits all the high notes.
For beautiful surroundings, attention to detail, and service like no other be sure to book into this 5-star hotel when you’re next in town, Loewes undoubtedly sets a new bar when it comes to luxury hotels.

MR CHOW

For the best Chinese food, MR CHOW is the place to be. There’s no other way of saying it. For us, they merge the very best of new cuisine along with the classic Beijing favorites (order the duck). Their attention to detail is acute, which is spearheaded by the Manager there, Brian Murati. This should be one of the first places on your hit list.

Lure Fishbar

Let’s get one thing straight; the Lure Fishbar is a restaurant you must visit when in the area. Specializing in fish as you may have guessed, these guys also do fantastic meats for the carnivores out there. The ambiance is laid back luxe, sit there and relax while their expertly trained staff take care of you (cue Dennis, the most knowledgeable front of the house that you’ll ever meet). Must eats include the Crispy Rice Cakes (they’re a popular bestseller), and it’s too easy to eat multiple plates of these, as well as the Seared Diver Scallops as well as the Whole Daurade. But really, you can’t go wrong with anything that is on this menu.

Did anyone say brunch? Well, you must mean Delano. Synonymous with brunch, on a Sunday, you’ll find a delicious and wide array of food. Brace yourself; it’s all so good you won’t want to stop thanks to Executive Chef Jose Icardi.

Los Fuegos By Francis Mallmann

You’ll find Los Fuegos, an authentic Argentine-inspired restaurant, within the Faena hotel on the strip, and it doesn’t disappoint. The restaurant itself is brilliantly decadent and the food, well delicious. By grill-master Francis Mallmann, there’s a mix of steak and fish, and it’s all comes from his passion for the ancient art of South American live-fire cooking. The octopus and the grilled meat selection is to die for.

Upland Miami

Upland is a little slice of NY on Miami’s South Beach. Brought to you by Chef Justin Smillie, he was born in California and raised in New Jersey, so there’s a cool merging of influences. Their food is on point (try the chicken, and even their carrots are ridiculously tasty), their service is brilliant, and the vibe makes you want to stay there all night. A dangerous but enjoyable mix!

Bar Centro

José Andrés is known for his taste sensations. Head to this bar, at the SLS Hotel Miami, for some appetizers and cocktails, and when it comes to the food, expect liquid nitrogen and organic emulsifiers, which he uses to elevate the classics and reimagine the modern mainstays. As for the cocktails, you have to try Spicy Little Sunset in ode to Miami.
