Raffles London, The OWO, UK
An old war office building that is steeped in history will be turned into a 120 room and suites flagship hotel by Raffles. Set to open in late 2022, Raffles London at The OWO and The OWO Residences by Raffles will be the brand’s first opening in London. There would be 85 branded residences at this destination on Whitehall. The place where Winston Churchill, H H Asquith, David Lloyd George, and John Profumo held office will be rebranded as The OWO with nine restaurants and bars, a spa with a 20-meter indoor pool, and separate vitality pool, and a 620 seated-capacity grand ballroom.
Kimpton Mallorca, Spain
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), will have its first luxury hotel in Mallorca. It would be under the Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants brand while the 79-room luxury hotel would be situated next to golf courses like the Santa Ponsa Golf and the Santa Ponsa Country Club. Located less than 30 minutes from Palma de Mallorca airport, this new hotel would be a different boutique offering.
The Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valley, Scottsdale, Arizona
This is the first Ritz-Carlton built in North America in a long time while it will open in the fall of 2022. The Ritz-Carlton, Paradise Valley, would be a flagship of this brand and is resting on 20 acres while located in Scottsdale. It would be decked out everything including secret gardens, oxygen-enriched guest rooms, on-site citrus groves, and a grand 400-foot swimming pool. The grand lobby of the hotel also overlooks Camelback Mountain.
Bvlgari Roma Hotel, Rome, Italy
Bvlgari Hotel Roma is being touted as “homage to the home of Bvlgari” and this hotel would be located in the Campo Marzio neighborhood, minutes from the Spanish Steps, Via del Corso, and the Bvlgari flagship on Via Condotti. The canvas for this hotel would be the modernist building from the 1930s that faces two of Rome’s most iconic landmarks: the Ara Pacis and the Mausoleum of Augustus, the first Roman Imperator. Bvlgari Hotel Roma will have over 100 rooms as well as a restaurant curated by Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito and The Bvlgari Bar.
Rosewood Doha, Qatar
Rosewood Doha luxury hotel will open in Lusail City in Qatar in 2022. The focus would be luxury hospitality along with a Middle Eastern twist. The most striking aspect would be the two-tower design which resembles the coral reefs in the seas surrounding Qatar. There would be 185 guest rooms and suites, 173 serviced apartments for longer-term stays, and 300 residences available for purchase. Also on offer would be a bistro, lobby lounge, coffee shop/deli, three specialty restaurants, cigar lounge, and a lifestyle entertainment lounge plus a 1,500-square-meter ballroom of course. Guests will also access a Sense, A Rosewood Spa, fitness center, etc.
Hotel Barrière Le Fouquet’s New York
The Barrière brand will have its first hotel in the US in form of the Hotel Barrière Le Fouquet’s New York. Situated at the Tribeca district, the Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s New York would have 96 Rooms and Suites over various floors along with Parisian brasserie, Fouquet’s along with a private spa, swimming pool, etc. It will open in the summer of next year.
One&Only Aesthesis, Athens
Greece and Athens are steeped in history and mythological importance while within this, the new One&Only Aesthesis would be a 21-hectare beachfront estate. Designed by Greek architects, the property will feature villas with private pools, a beach club along 1,600 meters of the seafront. Having partnered with health and wellness brand Chenot, the resort would also be home to a Chenot Spa.
Six Senses La Sagesse, Grenada
The Six Senses La Sagesse, Grenada will mark the debut of this brand in the Caribbean. It will open in late 2022 and would be having 56 guestrooms, seven one-bedroom villas, and five two-bedroom villas, with no building higher than a palm tree. A relaxed Caribbean vibe mixed with a luxury resort would be spread across 28 acres (11 hectares) plus the views over the turquoise sea. The luxury hotel will also be home to an ‘Experience Center’ complete with spa treatments, water sports or excursions, browsing the beachwear in the Boutique, learning about the healing benefits of botanicals in the Alchemy Bar, or relaxing in the Library.
