What is AMANO’s USP?
At AMANO Covent Garden, our USP is inspired by our Berlin roots. What are your favorite aspects of this hotel?
Probably the fact that we’re self-contained so you can enjoy the full experience from enjoying dinner at Penelope’s, going up for drinks on the rooftop, tumbling into bed, and ending with breakfast. We have a truly unique atmosphere and beautiful design. Finally – the people within.

Who is your target market/who do you cater for?
Our target market is diverse yet discerning. We welcome individuals and groups who appreciate a dynamic atmosphere. Our ideal guests are fun-loving individuals who seek an immersive experience in the heart of London. Whether they’re business travelers in search of mid-week convenience or leisure travelers craving excitement, we offer the perfect blend of style, location, and hospitality.
Which is your favorite room and why?
We have several different room grades at AMANO Covent Garden. The most impressive would be one of our Goldy rooms, there are only four in the building, and they are very popular. These large double rooms feature glamorous, golden, stand-alone bathtubs offering a view of the local theatres! Our 6th floor is home to our balcony rooms which offer views over to the London Eye. All our rooms have rainfall showers.

What can you recommend in the local vicinity?
Covent Garden and the surrounding areas offer plenty in terms of history and culture! We have world-class theatres on our doorstep including London’s Oldest Theatre, The Theatre Royale, and the Royal Opera House. There are plenty of charming cobblestone streets to explore that feature independent shops selling everything from artisan chocolates to a boutique designer for dog accessories. There’s a diverse culinary scene, including Michelin-starred restaurants and street food stalls with lively performers adding to the atmosphere.

Location

For those who want to stay centrally, the location of this hotel cannot be beaten. On the corner of Drury Lane and Russell Street, the luxury hotel is a stone’s throw away from Aldwych Theatre, and the Royal Opera House and it’s just a 5-minute walk to Covent Garden Underground Station; to the other side, it’s only a few minutes to the Strand and the Bankside Pier of the River Thames on foot.

The hotel is home to three F&B offerings: Restaurant Penelope’s, AMANO Bar London, and AMANO Rooftop Bar London. Penelope’s is a real highlight with its delicious Israeli-Spanish fusion cuisine offering innovative dishes that have been inspired by the flavors of AMANO co-founder Ariel Schiff’s youth, spent between Tel Aviv and southern Spain. It also comes complete with a DJ booth and a dance floor so there are fun vibes galore and it’s worth noting there is top-notch, attentive service by staff who make it their mission for diners to have the very best experience possible. The atmosphere is just as you’d expect, as the adjoining bar echoes the energy of the infamous ISRAMANI parties AMANO host in Berlin.
