Fawaz Gruosi, founder and creative force of de Grisogono, started his jewelry enterprise in Geneva on a rather shoestring budget. What he did have was a significant and single-minded passion for jewels and gemstones along with an eye for design and detail. He realized jewelry could be exciting and relevant in the lives of women. And he was right. Be it the sumptuous jewels from de Grisogono or the precious timepieces, the bold and the beautiful have worn them all. “It was simply another way to do things, and the success of de GRISOGONO is a miracle, in every sense. I was lucky, crazy; I worked like a madman, and still do. I simply try 100% to make my jewelry the best it can possibly be,” Gruosi says.
Whether it is dreaming up a pair of sumptuous Anelli earrings dripping with black diamonds or the Allegra timepiece featuring white gold cords, encrusted with baguette-cut white diamonds and Santa Claus red leather strap, atelier de Grisogono has always celebrated dramatic jewels with avant-garde designs.
