Mission Pacific Hotel, a JdV by Hyatt hotel, and The Seabird Resort, a Destination by Hyatt hotel have collaborated to offer its guests locally-driven experiences of Oceanside Beach. These two properties have been part of San Diego County as the largest oceanfront hotel project in 50 years within one of California’s first 14 cultural districts, hence, it will now provide locally-driven guest experiences encompassing different avenues. Some of these experiences are art infused with collaborating with the Oceanside Museum of Art. Hence, for example where upon entering Mission Pacific and The Seabird, guests are greeted by public spaces and guestrooms distinctly outfitted with 289 artworks and site installations curated by the Oceanside Museum of Art. Every art piece has been curated keeping in mind the community’s diverse talent. A total of 123 Southern California artists – who have cultural ties to the region – are represented across the collections.

Some of the other experiences include six dining concepts along with a special beer created by Bagby Beer for the rooftop bar, The Rooftop at Mission Pacific, along with a rotating craft beer selection. Additionally, an “Après Surf” concept at The Rooftop compliments the Oceanside’s surf aesthetic. The area’s top surfers will lend a creative hand to Après Surf, complemented by an array of local beer selections and Baja-influenced fare for guests and surfers.
