For Lamborghini, rarity alone has never been enough. The brand’s most desirable models are designed to create emotion as much as performance. With the unveiling of the new Automobili Lamborghini Fenomeno Roadster, the Italian automaker once again delivers a machine built to command attention.
Presented during Lamborghini Arena at Imola, the Fenomeno Roadster is now the most powerful open-top production model in the brand’s history. Only 15 examples will be built worldwide. Each one pairs a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 with a three-motor hybrid system that produces a combined 1,080 CV.
The Roadster is based on the Fenomeno Coupé introduced in 2025, but removing the roof required major engineering changes. Lamborghini redesigned the car’s aerodynamic surfaces to maintain cooling, balance, and stability at high speeds. Engineers also added a new aerodynamic blade to the windshield and reshaped the rear section to improve airflow around the cockpit.
The design remains unmistakably Lamborghini. The body sits extremely low and features sharp lines, dramatic air channels, and aggressive proportions. Several styling cues recall earlier Few-Off models such as the Reventón and Veneno, while the overall shape still feels modern and futuristic.
At the rear, the Roadster becomes even more dramatic. A high-mounted exhaust system dominates the tail, while the exposed hybrid V-12 remains the visual centerpiece of the car. Lamborghini intentionally designed the rear section to highlight the powertrain rather than hide it.
The naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V-12 produces 835 CV at 9,250 rpm. Combined with three electric motors, the hybrid system delivers a total output of 1,080 CV. Lamborghini says the Fenomeno Roadster can accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 2.4 seconds and exceed 211 mph.
Despite the hybrid technology, Lamborghini worked to preserve the emotional character of its V-12 flagship models. Instead of reducing the drama, the electric system is designed to sharpen performance and response.
The engineering beneath the bodywork is equally advanced. The Fenomeno Roadster uses a multi-technology carbon-fiber structure inspired by aerospace construction methods. Its architecture is related to the system introduced on the Lamborghini Revuelto. Lamborghini also fitted manually adjustable racing dampers and CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brakes developed from motorsport technology.
Bridgestone developed custom Potenza tires specifically for the Fenomeno Roadster. The lineup includes both high-performance road tires and semi-slick track-focused versions created to handle the car’s hybrid power output.
Inside, the cockpit follows Lamborghini’s “Feel Like a Pilot” philosophy. Carbon fiber, Corsatex by Dinamica, and Lamborghini’s patented Carbon Skin material create a cabin focused more on immersion than traditional luxury. Deeply contoured seats, aviation-inspired controls, and digital displays reinforce the Roadster’s race-inspired personality.
The launch specification is just as bold as the performance. Finished in Blu Cepheus with Rosso Mars accents, the Fenomeno Roadster references the 1968 Miura Roadster while also paying tribute to Bologna’s historic colors.
Few-Off models have long represented Lamborghini’s most exclusive creations. That lineage began with the Reventón and later expanded through the Veneno, Centenario, and Sián. The Fenomeno Roadster continues that tradition while showing that electrification will not dilute the bold character that defines Lamborghini.
If anything, the next generation of Lamborghini appears even more dramatic than before.
